A bunch of bots I made for Twitter. They're all on hiatus right now because I'm upset with
how that website's been moderated since late 2022.

The Bots
In order of how much I like them:
-
Each Wordsquare:
Tweets N-by-N grids of letters that spell the same words left-to-right
as they do top to bottom.
[github] (Mar 2017)
-
#ReaderBot:
This bot pulled from a manually-maintained
spreadsheet
to sporadically tweet what book I was currently reading and when I was
likely to finish it.
[github] (Nov 2016)
-
Synthetic Shakespeare:
I trained a Markov model on the digram transitions of the works of
Shakespeare, and now I can sample new Shakespeare-sounding verses.
(July 2010)
-
RandomBabel: Another Markov
bot, trained on the King James Version of the baby. (July 2010)
- 1-900-BAD-SEXT
A bot that goes out and finds present-tense tweets, then repeats them
after the famous "SEXT:" prefix. So long, context!
[github] (Oct 2015)
- Acrostician:
A bot that kept a running count of how often n-grams appear on Twitter,
then tries to patch together a reasonable sounding acrostic which matches
a specified target. Its account is currently suspended!
